Our competitive swimming program is offered to children who have graduated from the Junior Dolphins, and to new members of all ages wishing to extend their swimming skills in a swim squad.
Our professional coaches provide advanced stroke correction and technique advice so swimmers of all ages can reach their personal goals.
Blue Squad (1 or 2 sessions per week)
Designed for swimmers aged between 13 - 17 years old who wish to maintain a healthy active lifestyle and enjoyment whilst further developing their technique of all strokes.
Swimmers in this squad will have the opportunity to develop their skills for their school swimming carnivals, and the opportunity to progress to Bronze or Silver squads if they wish to pursue the competitive pathway.
Bronze Squad (2 - 4 sessions per week)
Usually, for swimmers under the age of 13 years, these swimmers will be competent in the four main swimming strokes and race skills such as dives and turns. Swimmers participating in the Bronze Squad are encouraged to become members of the City of Sydney Aquatic Club, race at the Club Race Nights and local development meets.
Silver Squad (4 - 6 sessions per week including mornings)
Swimmers are divided into 12 & Under and 13 & Over Squads (Senior Silver) so they have the opportunity to swim with their peers. They will have demonstrated a record of competitive swimming at a regional and/or state level.
Swimmers in this squad are required to become members of the City of Sydney Aquatic Club and compete at the Club Race Nights, Regional and/or State and other competitions as identified by their coach.
Gold Squad (6 - 8 sessions per week including mornings)
