Attention Customers,
This is to notify you of updates to previous communications that were shared in the 360 Members eDM, on websites, and on social media, regarding sun lounging at the City’s pools.
Unfortunately, after the developments over the last 24hrs associated with the COVID-19 cluster on the Northern Beaches, the ability to sun lounge at the City’s pools, including Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool, Cook + Phillip Park Pool, Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre, Prince Alfred Park Pool, and Victoria Park Pool will be delayed, and the Swim’n’Go policy will remain in place this weekend and until further notice.
As requested by NSW Health anyone who lives from The Spit Bridge in Manly to Palm Beach has been instructed to stay home for three days. For the safety of our fitness community, we strongly recommend this advice is followed.
We ask for your patience and understanding as we take these steps to protect the health of all of our customers, our colleagues, and our community.
Centre Management
Commencing on Saturday 19 December, the Swim’n’Go policy will be relaxed and customers will be able to lounge by the pool for extended periods of time.
Outdoor spaces that will re-open across the City’s pools include;
For the health and safety of our customers and colleagues, social distancing measures will still apply inside the centres. A 1.5m social distancing rule will be monitored by centre staff.
Lap lane capacities will remain in place (max. 10 per lane for public lap swimming). You can read more about our COVID-Safe Summer plan HERE.
Centre staff will also be strictly monitoring capacities inside the centres. Please be aware as demand increases overs Summer, there may be queues and delays upon entry.
We would like to thank all of our customers for your patience and cooperation with our COVID-Safe plan since re-opening in June.
Our primary goal has been, and will continue to be, the health and safety of our customers, our colleagues, and our community.
We can’t wait to see you this weekend!
