COSAC swimmers achieve success at state championships

The City of Sydney Aquatic Club swimmers delivered strong results at the recent NSW State Open Championships.

The City of Sydney Aquatic Club delivered an overall great team performance against one of the strongest fields at the NSW State Open Championships.

As a result, our COSAC swimmers have gained invaluable experience competing against some of the best in the country.

These results will boost the teams' confidence and place them in a strong position as they prepare for Nationals, held later in the year.

Congratulations to the following COSAC swimmers who either won a medal or finished in the top 10:

  • Stuart Swinburn: 2nd Mens 1500free
  • Girls 4x200 Freestyle Relay: 2nd
  • Millie Springett Kelly: 3rd Womens MC 100Br
  • Millie Springett Kelly: 5th Womens MC 200IM
  • Mixed 4x100 Medley Relay- 6th
  • Girls 4x100 Medley Relay- 6th
  • Mens 4x200 Freestyle Relay- 7th
  • Millie Springett Kelly: 8th Womens MC 50free
  • Mens 4x100 Medley Relay- 10th

COSAC's squad swimmers train at Cook + Phillip Park Pool, Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre and Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre. Many of them have risen through the ranks from our learn to swim program.
