The First Laps initiative provides a $100 voucher to parents, guardians and carers of children, aged between three and six years, towards swimming lessons.

Swimming is an excellent way to keep children of all ages active, providing them with many lasting health benefits. Most importantly, learning to swim affords children vital safety and survival skills which they will take with them throughout their lives.

Our GOswim program is a fun and practical way for your kids to learn to swim. With participation and practise time maximised during classes, it develops effective swimming techniques and teaches essential water survival skills.

How to redeem my First Lap vouchers with the City of Sydney GOswim program

A step-by-step guide to redeeming your voucher with us:

  1. Your child must first be enrolled into the GOswim program. This can be done by calling our customer help desk on 1300 198 412, or chatting to our friendly team in-centre.
  2. Once you have received your First Lap voucher, either bring it to your next class and redeem at the reception desk, or send it to our team via email to askbelgravia@belgravialeisure.com.au. Please include both the parent/guardian’s name and child's name in the email.
  3. Our team will confirm the validity of the voucher and register it to your child’s enrolment in the GOswim program.
  4. Your credit will then be applied to your enrolment in our program and will be reflected in your direct debiting cycle.

There is no better time to teach your child water safety skills. Check out our article that highlights the top 5 reasons to keep kids swimming over Winter.
